The purpose of this study is to understand how people perceive and describe different body types. In this experiment you will be asked to describe 10 human bodies using a list of body type descriptors (e.g., stocky, petite, etc.). Next to each of these descriptors you will see five point scales ranging from disagree to agree. Use this scale to evaluate how well each body type descriptor describes the body in the image on the left. You finished the task after you rated all the 10 images.
After the experiment we will ask for some demographic information about you (e.g. gender, age, nationality, mother language). Finally you will be asked to describe your own body using the body descriptor words. The completion time for this HIT should take approximately 15 minutes. In order to get paid, please make sure that you answer all questions.
